The machine works great very powerful motor. Just one thing when i was mixing cookies i broke the black plastic beaters all i can say is be very careful when using the cookie beaters. I don’t know if the dough was just too much for it or what. But anyway i still love this mixer.

I absolutely love this machine. I primarily make sourdough bread and other related sourdough treats. I was hesitant to switch to the Ankarsrum due to reading that it has a learning curve if you’re coming from a KitchenAid mixer. I even looked at spiral mixers which were too expensive for home usage. I eventually decided to take the plunge and I’m kicking myself for not doing this sooner. My KitchenAid Pro mixer could not keep up with the amount of dough I was making and was grinding from the gears when I would make bigger batches. The Ankarsrum powers through the same task with ease. The roller gently kneads the dough and my dough comes out better mixed, more supple, and with stronger gluten. It’s amazing how well this mixer functions and I’m excited that my two younger kids may inherit this from me as it’s built like a tank. There is not that much of a learning curve and the mixer is easy. Don’t wait like I did. Take the plunge.
