Homemade Cinnamom Buns

One of the many delicious things you can make with your Ankarsrum Assistent Original. Here you will find both recipe and instructions on how to use your machine when making your own homemade cinnamom buns.

 

CINNAMOM BUNS

 

Ankarsrum Cinnamom BunsIngredients
100 g fresh yeast
1 liter milk
180 g sugar
6 g ground cardamom
2 eggs
300 g salted butter
1680 g bread flour

Add yeast
Start the machine
Add milk 37°C (98°F)

Add sugar
Add cardamom
Add eggs
Add salted butter
Add 1/2 the flour, little at a time
Lock the arm 2-3 cm from the edge

Add the rest of the flour
Set timer for 8 minutes
Add salt

Let the dough rise for 40 minutes
Roll the dough to a rectangle
Spread with the filling
Twist strips and turn them into knots
Cover and let rise for 40 minutes
Brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar
Set oven to 225°C (435°F)
Bake for 5-10 minutes
