- 150 gram butter
- 135 gram sugar
- 1 gram saffron
- 3 tbsp syrap, light
- 220 gram flour (220-240 gram)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 gram chocolate, white
Bake these saffron cookies with a lot of flavor for Christmas!
Set oven to 175 °C (347 °F). Cover a baking pan with a baking sheet paper.
Mortar saffron together with a little sugar.
Chop the chocolate.
Assemble the assistent with the beater bowl and cookie whisks.
Whisk soft butter, saffron, sugar and syrup.
Mix flour and baking powder and add to the batter.
Divide the dough into two pieces and shape into lengths. Put the lengths on a baking pan and flatten them slightly.
Cut it along the center and fill it with chocolate
Bake in the middle of the oven for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool slightly on the baking pan and then cut into cookies.
