- 300ml cream (40%)
- 2 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 0,5g saffron
- Pistachios, for topping
Saffron ice cream with pistachios
Creamy and incredibly tasty ice cream with saffron, the best spice of Christmas. Easy to make in your Ankarsrum Ice Cream Maker.

Make sure to put the ice cream container in the freezer for about 20-24 hours before you are going to use it.

Assemble the Assistant with the beater bowl and balloon whisks. Whisk the cream on medium-high speed until it becomes thick.

Beat eggs, saffron and sugar together in a separate bowl.

Mix the egg mixture with the whipped cream on low speed until they are thoroughly combined.

Attach the ice cream attachment to the Assistent and insert the freezer container.

Start the Assistent on low and slowly pour the mixture in. Let it run for about 20-30 minutes, on low speed. Scoop into a freezer-safe container and put it in the freezer for a minimum of 1-2 hours.

Serve the ice cream with pistachios.
