Use the beater bowl and balloon whisks to easily prepare these mini strawberry cakes.

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 270 g sugar
  • 90 g flour
  • 120 potato starch
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tsp vanilla sugar

Filling and decoration:

  • 2 bananas
  • Strawberry jam
  • 500-600 ml whipping cream
  • Fresh strawberries (800-1000 g)

Use the beater bowl and balloon whisks to easily prepare these mini strawberry cakes.

    Follow these steps

  1. Set the oven to 175 °C (347 °F).

  2. Assemble the assistent with the beater bowl and balloon whisks.

  3. Whisk the eggs and sugar for about 10 minutes on medium speed until it becomes thick and fluffy.

  4. In a separate bowl mix: flour, potato starch, baking powder and vanilla sugar

  5. Add the dry ingredients in the beater bowl and mix on the lowest speed until the dry ingredients are dissolved in the batter.

  6. Pour the batter in an oven tray (32 x 37 cm) with a height of around 3 cm lined with parchment paper.

  7. Let it bake in the lower part of oven for about 20 minutes.

  8. When the cake base has cooled down, using a cookie cutter with a diameter of 7 cm, you can cut out 12 smaller round-shaped cake bases,

  9. Cut each in three layers.

  10. Mash bananas and cover the first layer with mashed bananas,

  11. Mix strawberry jam with some whipped cream and fill the second layer with it.

  12. Cover the cake with whipped cream and decorate with fresh strawberries.
