Ingredients

Cake

  • 175 g (5 ยผ tbsp) butter
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) dark chocolate
  • 300 g (2 ยฝ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 240 g (2 cups) icing sugar
  • 80 g (โ…“ cup + 1 tbsp) cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 200 ml (3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100 ml (โ…“ cup + 1 tbsp) hot water

Filling

  • 200 ml (3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) cream
  • 400 g (14 oz) cream cheese
  • 60 g (ยฝ cup) icing sugar
  • 300 g (10.5 oz) milk chocolate

Topping

  • 25 g (1 oz) dark chocolate

Celebrate new years by making this festive chocolate cake.

Dessert

    Follow these steps

    1. Set oven to 175 ยฐC (350ยฐF).

    2. Grease three baking pans with butter. Mix flour and cocoa and flour molds.

    3. Chop the chocolate and melt with the butter.

    4. Assemble the Assistent with beater bowl and balloon whisks.

    5. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.

    6. Whisk together eggs and yogurt.

    7. Add the dry ingredients and the melted chocolate butter.

    8. Boil water and whisk together quickly.

    9. Spread the batter into the baking pans and bake in the center of the oven for about 15 minutes.

    10. Remove the baking pans, allow to cool completely.

    11. Chop and melt the chocolate for the filling.

    12. Assemble the Assistent again with beater bowl and balloon whisks.

    13. Whisk the cream lightly and add the cream cheese and icing sugar.

    14. Add the chocolate while whisking.

    15. Spread the filling evenly on the bases. Chop the rest of the chocolate and sprinkle over.
