General information
These purchase conditions apply when you as a consumer place an order from Ankarsum Kitchen’s e-shop www.ankarsrum.com/fi. An agreement between you and Ankarsrum Kitchen regarding the delivery of your ordered products is made when you receive a delivery confirmation.

To shop at Ankarsrum Kitchen’s e-commerce, you must be over 18 years of age, not be under guardianship and otherwise have the capacity to enter into an agreement. If you are under 18, you must have a parent’s permission to order from us.

We reserve the right for possible delivery delays and final sales. Furthermore, we reserve the right for technical errors, printing errors and misspellings. We reserve the right to adjust any errors in the price information before and after the order is processed.

Delivery and order

If you place a machine order for the AKM6230, you can choose a delivery option with free shipping. Free shipping is offered together with DHL and delivered to a service point near you.

Our delivery options include agent delivery to the nearest DHL Service Point or Postnord Delivery Point, as well as home delivery with Postnord. You choose the option that suits you best at checkout.

Cost for delivery to service point amounts to SEK 59, home delivery SEK 129. Free shipping is offered on orders of Ankarsrum Assistent Original or Deluxe package.

Ankarsrum Kitchen does not deliver parcels in connection with the warehouse or the head office in Ankarsrum.

Damages incurred during transport must be reported to Ankarsrum immediately, no later than 7 days after the shipment has been received by the recipient.

Unclaimed packages
Your package remains at the drop-off location for varying lengths of time depending on the respective supplier’s regulations, after which it is sent back to the warehouse in Ankarsrum. If you have paid for your order but not picked it up, you will automatically be credited for the sum of the product(s) (but not for the shipping cost) when we have handled your delivery.

Orders that are not picked up from service point or that cannot be delivered are charged a fee to cover our costs. The fee for proxy shipments is SEK 175 and for home deliveries SEK 300.

Force Majeure
Ankarsrum Kitchen AB is not obliged to fulfill the purchase if there is an obstacle that the company cannot overcome or the fulfillment would require sacrifices that are not reasonable with regard to the customer’s interest in Ankarsrum Kitchen fulfilling the purchase. The customer is also not entitled to compensation for the damage the customer suffers as a result of Ankarsrum Kitchen’s delay or error if the delay or error is due to an obstacle beyond Ankarsrum Kitchen’s control that could not reasonably have been expected to have been taken into account at the time of the purchase and whose consequences Ankarsrum Kitchen also could not reasonably have have avoided or overcome.

Order confirmation
When you have completed an order, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. If you have not received an order confirmation, please check that your email address is correct and check your spam folder. Notify Ankarsrum Kitchen’s Customer Service and we will resend the confirmation.

Returns and complaints
The easiest way is to contact Ankarsrum Kitchen’s customer service to cancel a purchase, make an exchange or report a complaint. In the case of canceled purchases or exchanges, shipping is paid for by the customer.

Ankarsrum Kitchen AB is not responsible for the product during the time it is sent back to Ankarsrum Kitchen from the customer.

Returns must be sent to Ankarsrum Kitchen using a shipping method delivered directly to Ankarsrum Kitchen. Packages sent to agents are not redeemed, Ankarsrum Kitchen does not reimburse postage or other costs for shipments sent incorrectly.

Right of withdrawal
You as a consumer (private person) have a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal according to the Act (2005:59) on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises. The cancellation period is counted from the date you received your goods.

To use your right of withdrawal, you need to contact Ankarsrum Kitchen orally or in writing within fourteen (14) days from the time you received your product. This must be done via phone number +46 490 533 20 or email, [email protected]

If you choose to cancel your purchase, the product must be sent to Ankarsrum Kitchen AB within fourteen (14) days from the date you notified Ankarsrum Kitchen that you are canceling. The return is paid for by the customer. You will receive your refund no later than fourteen (14) days after we were informed of your decision to cancel the order. We have the right to delay the refund until we have received the goods. We refund via the same payment method that the purchase was originally made.

Ankarsrum Kitchen AB is not responsible for the product during the time it is sent back to Ankarsrum Kitchen from the customer due to the right of withdrawal. Be sure to package the item(s) carefully and send them back as a package. Keep tracking number until you have been refunded or contacted.

The item must be returned with original packaging and in the same condition as you received it, Ankarsrum Kitchen AB has the right to charge costs for restoring products to original condition.

Claims
Each machine undergoes a quality check before it is sent to you as a consumer. Should the product, despite this, still be broken or incorrect when it arrives, you as a private customer (not a company) have a three (3) year right to complain about original faults from the day you bought the product. You who wish to claim an error in an ordered item must contact Ankarsrum Kitchen’s customer service as soon as possible after the error is discovered, see contact details:

During the presumption period of twenty-four (24) months, the burden of proof is to prove that the product is covered by an original defect on Ankarsrum Kitchen. After the presumption period until the right of complaint expires three (3) years after purchase, the burden of proof is on the consumer.

Warranty rules
Machine model AKM6230 with 1500 watt motor has a seven (7) year factory warranty which covers the machine excluding the stainless steel kettle and other accessories. Older models are covered by a five (5) year factory warranty which covers the machine excluding the stainless steel kettle and other accessories.

The guarantee only applies to machines used in your own household and when you have followed the instructions in the user manual. The warranty does not apply to transport damage or in case of incorrect or careless handling or commercial use. The warranty also does not apply in the event of incorrect handling. The machine must not be used for anything other than what it is intended for. The machine may not be opened or repaired in any other way by anyone other than personnel from Ankarsrum or designated service point for the warranty to apply.

If the device is used in places other than a household, for example in light industry, on farms or bed-and-breakfast premises, etc., reference IEC 60335 2-14 §1, the warranty period is limited to one (1) year. The warranty only applies if you follow the instructions in the user manual and the safety instructions that come with the device.

Costs for warranty and complaints

In the event of an approved complaint, Ankarsrum Kitchen AB pays the cost of return shipping. If the complaint is not valid or if you exercise your right of withdrawal, you pay the cost of the return shipping yourself.

Products that are found to be free of defects when asserting a warranty or complaint are charged with shipping and a troubleshooting fee of a total of SEK 875.

Secure payment

Shopping at Ankarsrum Kitchen AB’s e-commerce is safe and easy. You choose between invoice payment (Klarna), partial payment (Klarna Konto), or card payment where your bank or credit card is connected to Visa or Mastercard/Eurocard. Card payment
If you have a bank or credit card connected to Visa and Mastercard, you can pay through your account card. When you choose this payment option, the amount on your credit card is reserved at the time of your order and payment is only made when the goods are sent to you.

Invoice
The invoice is sent via email from Klarna. The invoice is handed over to our partner, Klarna AB, who does a simplified credit check without a proof of identity.
