Homemade focaccia

One of the many delicious things you can make with your Ankarsrum Assistent Original. Here you will find both recipe and instructions on how to use your machine when making your own homemade focaccia.

 

Focaccia

 

Ingredients
25 g fresh yeast (or 2 1/4 tsp, dry active yeast)
1.75 cup water (400 ml)
0.25 cup olive oil (50 ml)
4.5 cups bread flour
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp honey
3 tbsp olive oil, divided
Fresh rosemary & sea salt

Add yeast
Add water
Add salt
Add olive oil
Add honey

Start the machine on medium speed
Add flour, little at a time
Let the dough rise for 40 min

Put the dough in a baking pan
Let rise again for 30 min
Make holes with your fingers
Add olive oil, rosemary and sea salt
Set oven to 225°C (435°F)
Bake in the middle of the oven for 25 min
