Ingredients

  • 500 g strawberries, frozen or fresh (about 1 lb / ~3½ cups)
  • 200 g sugar (1 cup)
  • 200 ml water (¾ cup + 1 tbsp)
  • 50 g lemon juice (3 tbsp + 1 tsp)

    Before use

    1. Place the freezer bowl in the freezer (about 0 ºF / -18 ºC) for 20-24 hours.

    Follow these steps

    1. Boil sugar and water into a syrup.

    2. Assemble the Assistent with the Blender.

    3. Puree the strawberries and lemon juice until smooth. Strain the sorbet base through a fine mesh sieve (if desired). Place the base in the refrigerator until it is thoroughly chilled.

    4. Assemble the Assistent with the Ice Cream Maker.

    5. Pour the sorbet base into the freezer bowl through the opening in the lid.

    6. Let the machine run at low/medium speed for 20-30 minutes until the desired consistency is reached.

    7. Enjoy immediately or place the lid on the freezer bowl and store in the freezer.
