Ingredients
Simple syrup
- 250 g water (1 cup)
- 225 g sugar (1 cup and 2 tbsp)
Lemon Slush
- Juice from 4 lemons (about 1/2 cup)
- Juice from 2 limes (about 1/4 cup)
- Zest from 1 lemon and 1 lime
- 200 g simple syrup (3/4 cup)
- 150 ml vodka (optional) โ cup (5 fl oz)
- 30 ice cubes (4-5 cups)
- Fresh mint for garnish

When life gives you lemons, blend them with some ice.
Follow these steps

Boil water and sugar until the sugar has dissolved, allow to cool and place in the fridge.

Assemble the Ankarsrum with the Citrus Press.

Zest 1 lemon and 1 lime. Cut the lemons and limes in half, start the Ankarsrum on medium speed, and juice the citrus fruit.

Put the Ankarsrum on its side and attach the Blender.

Blend juice, zest, simple syrup, vodka (optional), and ice thoroughly until the ice is crushed. If you want a sweeter slush, add more syrup.

Pour in tall, large glasses and garnish with mint. Serve immediately.
